Lead Integration Consultant
Job Overview
Lead Consultant owning the integration architecture that connects AI agents and platform AI to enterprise backends. You set the design, the security bar, and the governance model, and you mentor the engineers building alongside you. This is a hands-on architecture & delivery role, not a pure oversight one.
Roles & Responsibilities: -
- Own the architecture connecting AI agents and platform AI to enterprise backends
- Build API layers and MCP servers for secure, governed AI access
- Orchestrate AI workflows across Boomi, n8n, Azure Logic Apps, and AWS Step Functions
- Design event-driven systems triggered by real enterprise events
- Set the security bar - OAuth2, JWT, SAML, API gateway policies, PII masking
- Govern LLM usage, token cost, and API latency at scale
Lead technical delivery - code reviews, design decisions, mentoring
Primary Skill
- 8+ years in enterprise integration, with deep hands-on Boomi (APIM + iPaaS) - plus MuleSoft or Azure Integration Services or SAP CPI
- Build the AI integration layer connecting AI agents and platform AI to enterprise backends via governed APIs and MCP servers
- Track record leading integration delivery - architecture, decisions, mentoring
- Proven depth in at least two integrations of: SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Strong API skills - REST, GraphQL, SOAP, webhooks, pub-sub
- Event streaming - Kafka, Azure Service Bus, or RabbitMQ
- Enterprise security fundamentals - OAuth2, SAML, JWT, API gateway
Secondary Skill
- LLM API experience - OpenAI, Anthropic, or Azure OpenAI
- Agentic patterns - LangGraph, MCP, or A2A agent-to-system architectures
- Platform AI - Agentforce, Now Assist, or Copilot Studio
- Pre-sales partnering - shaping solutions and de-risking delivery with architects and sales
- Boomi, MuleSoft, or Azure certifications (AI-102/ AZ-204
